I was skeptical at first because I've read so many poor reviews about books not coming with access codes I planned on only getting the text book but I didn't however realize how much I would actually be getting for such a small price. :) I just got the book into today so haven't truly read it but I did look through everything and was extremely impressed.I got the Anatomy & Physiology text, student access code, plus the atlas for human anatomy(includes real pictures of the human anatomy) and a really cool anatomy tutorial CD. All for $48.73. The book alone is $116 USED at my university and does not include an access code. The text is an excellent read, and the pictures of the Atlas book are beautifully done. I love how it includes pictures from real human anatomy.

It's a good book but very rudimentary. It's not very in depth and explanations or description fall very short. The pictures and diagrams are quite good. The use of clinical sidebars in each chapter is a nice idea.
I am not really a fan of Pearson published books, however this one is ok. I have had Gen Chem and Math textbooks also from Pearson and were abysmal. But thus far I like this textbook.

its a rental so I expected nothing fantastic but pages are colored on and some pages are even ripped out....like not even there..wish they checked the books a little more before renting....but for the price vs what it would have cost to by new overall it was a good deal.

I’m a college student finishing my pre-nursing credits. I’m trying to retain all of the information I’m learning, but it’s a ton! And that is why I’m so happy with this book. I bought it used, it only has two pages written in it so I’m fine with that. If you do buy it used, make sure to check the condition. With this workbook im able to test myself whenever I need to study after reading the chapter. I just write in my answers lightly, grade myself, record my “grade” then erase and come back to it. I love this workbook. Anyone studying anatomy and physiology needs this!!!
My class called for the 11th edition of the book but most copies were over $300. I got the 10th edition for $40 and its almost exactly the same. I haven't noticed any differences from the $300 books my class mates bought. The book I received was it great condition. The cover was beaten up alot but the inside look brand new. It looked like whoever had the book before me carried it around alot but never bothered to open it. The book is great and it helping me pass my tests. I am 100% satisfied and not completely broke )
If you have an anatomy teacher who is not meeting your "nutritional needs" in class, this will feed your understanding.
*Take this book,powerpoints, and your text, and use the multiple choice, matching, labeling, and concept maps to get clear on your vocabulary, and processes and concepts for your class.
*Fill in the gaps left by professors on things you would really like to understand.
I have seen direct quotes of some of the matching questions on the tests. That part was totally worth it for me!

*A great source to keep my interest and grades high, and clarify what had been muddled by my lecturer.

Exactly what I was looking for, new and shrink wrapped. I am a yoga instructor looking for an approachable text on A&P. I had read Kaminoff & Mathews' Yoga Anatomy and Coutler's Anatomy of Hatha Yoga and was ready for a more in-depth treatment. This one is perfect for me. The text reads like a novel and is easy to follow and understand. I'm doing this as home study and have found that the supplemental "Mastering A&P" is worth many times its price for the eText alone. But the real payoff for me is the PAL 3 virtual cadaver. When you double click on a muscle, for example, a CGI view of the skeleton with that muscle appears and demonstrates where it attaches and inserts, then how it moves the skeleton at the joints. To make best use of this feature, you'll already need to know the names of most of the bones of the body ("medial cuneiform").
